You sign in to a shop inside a web view on your own phone. Depensa never sees what you type. It keeps the session the shop hands back, so it can read the pages you are already signed in to.

What Depensa reads

Your order history on the shops you connect, and nothing else: the merchant, the date, the amount, and the items on the order. It does not read your messages, your email, or any page outside the shop’s own order history.

What Depensa stores

The orders it read, the categories you give them, and the sessions it needs to read again. Every reader it writes is versioned, and you can see what each version read on the source screen in the app.

What Depensa shares

Nothing. There is no analytics on this page, no cookies, and no third party receives your orders.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account in the app removes your orders, your sessions, and your readers. Write to depensa@techwithanirudh.com if you would rather we did it for you.
